August Finished at Long Last

I have finally finished August and started on September. August was truly hard for me. I did not now what I was doing for August and on the 1st of the month my father passed away. I know he is truly at peace and reunited with my mother. So my piece became a tribute to both my parents and my sister who I lost a few years ago. The bullet casing is in fact from the gun salute from my father's burial.

I am glad that this piece is finally done and I can move on to others.

This is a very powerful tribute. I love the fact that the colors are very bright and joyous rather than somber. My sympathies for your loss(es), as well ...

my dearest sympathies. This must have been a difficult page to do & hopefully therapeutic as well. It's beautiful and the wonderful "bridge" connecting your parents and sister.
Best wishes

How sad it is when you lose a parent. This page is truly a tribute to your parents and sister. And the colors are joyful and bright. Lots of healing in this one!

Yes, this one would be difficult... my heart wings to you for revealing your delicate emotions in this personal (yet public) way. I see the colors as being the gentle colors of rebirth and your beading as being a pathway of connection. How are you feeling? Although you are done with this piece, are you finished with journaling this subject?

One can feel so much love in this tribute to your family. It's almost as if they are all smiling at you in your love for them.

You are a very special person to be able to communicate all that love.
