August Finished at Long Last

I have finally finished August and started on September. August was truly hard for me. I did not now what I was doing for August and on the 1st of the month my father passed away. I know he is truly at peace and reunited with my mother. So my piece became a tribute to both my parents and my sister who I lost a few years ago. The bullet casing is in fact from the gun salute from my father's burial.

I am glad that this piece is finally done and I can move on to others.

Finally Finished July

Well I finally finished July this past weekend. This is to celebrate battling and beating the monster (as far as I am concerned). Been there, done that, not doing it again.

The two lampwork beads were done by a friend of mine. She sent me a bunch out of the blue and they were a great pick me up during a rough time.

June is Done

I've not done this before and writing has never been one of my favorite things to do. I've finally finished my June page and am getting ready to start on July's. Since June has always been the beginning of Summer and I now live in Florida, I felt it called for the beach. The shells are ones that I have collected and I just knew that a turtle had to be included.
